He can be not on-edge? We were roommates last year, and I don't think a day went by he wasn't vibrating out of his skin.

I think it was mostly because it was just him, me, and the hedgehogs at the time...

I guess I more or less come across as harmless?

So does Aubury from Diasomnia, and he's terrified of them.

[Granted, this may be because Aubury is a remarkably powerful sorcerer whose Unique Magic allows them to punish people with rosethorn tattoos that hurt every time they do something Aubury doesn't like but aside from that he's the sweetest, most gentle student ever.]

There's also one big difference there.
