[He hands Allen the phone back and settles down, exhausted but not actually tired.]

[Allen smiles faintly as he takes his phone back.]

It feels like I've been run over and Che'nya was driving.

[Allen puts his phone away, but otherwise doesn't move.]

His dad and my dad are old friends; Dad's asked him to drive me a couple of places when neither of my parents were available and he was. I think riding in the car with him driving has shaved years off my lifespan.
